On July 30, police in Uong Bi, Quang Ninh province, Vietnam launched an investigation into an incident in which three women were assaulted outside a local karaoke bar.
According to initial reports, the incident occurred on the evening of July 27 near Quang Vinh Karaoke, located in Yen Thanh Ward, Uong Bi.
The victims were identified as Ms. T.T.T. (34), Ms. T.T.H. (28), and Ms. P.T.M.H. (24), all residents of Uong Bi, Vietnam detective agency.
A video circulating on social media shows the women being violently attacked and dragged by a group of men.
One woman was even seen being pulled along the road. The assailants fled the scene shortly after.
Upon receiving the report, Yen Thanh Ward police coordinated with other units to verify the incident, take statements from the involved parties, and track down the suspects.
The case is currently under investigation and will be handled in accordance with the law.
