The people’s procuracy of Tan Phuoc district, Tien Giang province approved the decision to prosecute Tuyen to investigate the act of torturing others.
On the morning of March 31, a 31-year-old woman brought her 2-year-old daughter to a spontaneous daycare center in Tan Lap 1 commune owned by Tuyen.
At around 3:30 p.m., the mother watched the security camera and saw her daughter and 3 boys lying down and playing, Tuyen was looking at her phone.
Her daughter was crying, Tuyen turned around and slapped her many times on the head and face, causing her to panic and cry.
The nanny then sat up and pushed the girl to another place, at the same time throwing a pillow at a boy behind her, causing him to fall backwards.
The girl’s mother then came to pick her up and reported it to the police.
After examination, the girl had a slight swelling in the head area, was frightened, and her health was not affected.
At the investigation agency, Tuyen admitted to the act, saying that in addition to the girl, she also looked after at least 3 other children of the same age at the facility.
Tuyen’s daycare center is not registered with a license.
