Police in Binh Hoa ward, Ho Chi Minh city are currently working with a group of individuals suspected of being involved in the violent assault of a married couple after their night shift.
Ho Chi Minh detective agency, on the evening of July 14, 2025, the couple was riding a motorbike home from work when they were followed by four men on two motorbikes.
The suspects kicked over the couple’s motorbike and attacked them with motorcycle helmets. They only fled when local residents intervened.
The attack left the couple injured and their motorbike severely damaged. That same night, the victims filed a report with the Binh Hoa Ward Police.
According to Mr. V., one of the attackers used to work at the same company but had already quit, and there had been no prior conflict between them.
Following the incident, the assailants continued to send threats to the couple through their co-workers, causing fear and distress.
As of August 6, police had brought in three individuals for questioning: two men suspected of directly committing the assault and a female co-worker believed to have orchestrated the attack and relayed the threats.
Authorities have also seized key evidence, including an iron rod and motorcycle helmets used in the assault.
The case is under ongoing investigation, and those involved will be dealt with according to the law.
