At around 7:00 a.m. on April 27, at Ket village, Quai Cang commune, Tuan Giao district, the authorities caught Lo Thi Phuong red-handed, Vietnamese detectives.
Phuong was born in 1980, in Tuan Giao district, for the act of illegally buying and selling drugs. Phuong is a teacher in the district; the evidence seized at the scene was a package of heroin.
Expanding the investigation, urgently searching Lo Thi Phuong’s residence, the police seized 2 more packages of heroin, 3 electronic scales and many other related evidences.
Phuong confessed that she had used many measures to deal with and deceive the authorities to supply drugs to drug retail outlets.
Phuong was on her way to sell the drugs when she was arrested by the authorities.
Dien Bien Provincial Police are continuing to clarify the incident.
