Lan, 62 years old, residing in Dien Chau district and Nguyen Thi Truyen, 66 years old, residing in Que Phong district, were criminally detained by Yen Thanh district police.
These two people were detained for investigation of illegal drug trafficking, according to Article 251 of the Penal Code in Vietnam.
Yen Thanh district police coordinated with scouts from the Ministry of Public Security and Nghe An province police to catch Ms. Lan and Truyen red-handed buying and selling drugs.
