At around 10pm on August 4, 2025, in Ray Moi hamlet, Kien Luong commune, An Giang province, Dang Thanh Duy, 44 years old, returned home after drinking.

The two sides got into a loud argument and Mr. Duy used a knife to slash Mr. S.’s neck and nape, injuring the victim.
People around promptly intervened and took Mr. S. to the emergency room. The examination results determined that Mr. S.’s body injury rate was 5%.
An Giang Provincial Police Department then decided to prosecute Mr. Duy for “Intentionally causing injury” and applied the measure of prohibiting him from leaving his place of residence to serve the investigation.
