The woman’s name is Nguyen Thi Thanh Ha, she is a former deputy of Sacombank Cam Ranh’s transaction office and three employees are accused of raising capital from many people and then defaulting.
Ha, 47 years old; Nhan, 41 years old, former treasurer of Sacombank Cam Ranh Transaction Office.
These two people were detained by the police on charges of embezzlement of property under Clause 4, Article 353 of the Penal Code in Vietnam.
My, 23 years old; Hai, 47, was also charged with the same crime, and the two were released on bail.
The four defendants borrowed money from outside and customers were unable to repay the loans.
The incident was discovered when the lender made the withdrawal procedure, but it was not possible, so it should be reported to the investigating agency.
The amount of damage in the case, is said to be 100 billion VND.
A representative of the State Bank of Khanh Hoa branch said that Sacombank had previously fired the above four employees.
The incident had criminal signs, so the bank transferred all the files to the provincial police for investigation.
